A narrative film shot in Arabic and English in Dallas, Texas, Faisal Goes West tells the story of a young man from the city of Khartoum who tries his luck at a Texas chicken farm. Heralded by TANK Magazine as a "striking work" and a "piece of charming and brutal realism," the film won the top honor at the Texas Independent Film Festival.
